Calgary
Days 1 - 2

Calgary is Alberta’s largest city. It is a modern metropolis, blending Western heritage with top attractions, a vibrant cultural hub and an exciting food and drink scene.
Music lovers will enjoy Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre, while foodies can indulge in Calgary’s eclectic dining scene, which reflects the city’s multicultural population. Sports fans can catch a Calgary Flames hockey game and discover the legacy of the 1988 Winter Olympics. For an insight into Alberta’s past, you must visit the Glenbow Museum and Heritage Park.

Banff National Park

Jasper National Park

Return to Calgary
Day 7

Retrace your steps along the Icefields Parkway to return to Calgary, stopping along the way at the Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary to experience the majestic and wild nature of wolfdogs. It is located at Cochrane, halfway between Canmore and Calgary and one of the most beautiful mountain towns in Canada.
Alternatively you can continue your drive to Alberta’s capital, Edmonton (225 miles) or extend your journey into British Columbia.
